Eklutna Lake is a great spot for the day or overnight, only 40 minutes from downtown Anchorage. It is a phenomenal place to learn kayaking, the bike trail is 26 miles long and the hiking is endless. We operate the visitors center where we have maps and staff to help you plan your trip, whether it’s just a day or traversing the glacier to Crow Pass.

Our center is open daily 10-6 and weekends 10-8 starting the last weekend in May to September. We are open weekends from the beginning of May to the end of September and all other times by reservation.

Eklutna Trips
		Paddle AND Pedal Our most popular option is the Paddle & Pedal- Kayak out 8 miles one way to the end of the lake where you will have a bike waiting for the return trip! To ensure your trip, reservations are reccommended. This trip takes 5 to 6 hours to complete, you must arrive Lifetime Adventures rental cabin by 11 am to get out on time. Kayak out/Bike back $75. Per person Guided Overnight Kayak one way, bike the other. Hike at the end of the lake back to the glacier. You will camp at the far end of the lake in our wall tent camp. Includes an Alaska Style dinner and pick up from Anchorage or the Mat– Su Valley. $200 per person based on two people. Full Day guided kayaking. Pick up available from in Anchorage or the Mat-Su Valley. Spend the day with a guide who will assist you in learning to paddle. Lunch included. Cost: $120. per person, based on two people.
Kayak Rentals.
		Boat rental price is per boat. All rentals include safety equipment. 2 hour double kayak rental $25 2 hour single kayak rental $20. 1/2 day double kayak rental $35 1/2 day single kayak rental $30. full day double kayak rental $55. 		All bikes come equipped with helmets Mountain Bike: All day $30. 1/2 day $20. 2 hours $10. Full Suspension: All day $35. 1/2 day $25. 2 hours $12. Trailer only: all day $20. 1/2 day $15. 2 hours $10. Trailer with bike: all day $35. 1/2 day $25. 2 hours $15. Add a gel pad seat for $1 to any bike.
