Campgrounds can only be reserved between May 1st and September 19th.

• Eagle River Campground
  Located 10 miles from Anchorage. From Glenn Highway, take Hiland Road Exit (Mile 12). Follow park signs onto frontage road to river and campground
• Finger Lake Campground
  Located at Mile 0.7 Bogard Road
• King Mountain State Recreation Site
  Located at mile 75 on the Glenn Highway on the Matanuska River

   Besides the safety of an emergency transmitter spot allows your friends and relatives to track your progress as you move about Alaska.

Bear Campsite

Fully outfitted for bear country. Includes shelters, tents, electric fence, bear proof containers, stove and any other camping gear needed (sleeping bags, packs etc). Each site comfortably sleeps up to eight.
